SEASON MATCHUPS

#2 Chris vs #5 Brandon

Brandon lucked out last night with Watson failing to get 3.5 points and the upset and pushing Brandon right out of the playoff picture.......This is a important match up for both owners. Brandon is still trying to make sure he can keep that 5 seed and make the playoffs. And Chris is trying to seal up a win this week to lock in the last bye spot for the first round. I have scored enough points that if I win this week the bye is mine. But most of the focus should be put on Brandon since he could possibly not make the playoffs if he gets a loss this week. But you will have to keep reading other match ups to get a good idea of the playoff picture.

#12 Matt vs #8 JR

Matt is coming off a loss this past week but he is still trying to play the spoiler and we all appreciate that. Last week was his highest scoring week to date, scoring 152.... JR, Brian and Andy are all in the same boat. They need 2 of Brandon, Trevor or Scott to lose to have a chance at making the playoffs and based on match ups there is good chance that one if not 2 of them could lose. So the gates to the playoffs are still wide open.

#3 Derek vs #4 Nathan

This match does not hold much value this weeks except for the fact that if Derek wins then he has a shot at the bye slot. But if Nathan wins then he could become the 3 seed and which he would be on opposite side of the bracket from are top dog Eric. So being the 3 seed or the 2 seed holds great value in that regard. Maybe this match is a lot more important then I led to believe.

#9 Brian vs #11 Todd

Just like last week for Matt. Todd also had his highest scoring week of the year, upsetting Trevor in the process. And with that loss Trevor took, it now opens the door for others to have a chance at the playoffs. Can Todd keep playing the spoiler and defeat Brian this week and eliminate his playoff hopes? The early projections go to Todd and if his team performs like they did last week then Brian might have a real tough time getting to playoffs.

#7 Scott vs #10 Andy

This is probably the most crucial match of the whole week. If Scott wins then he makes playoffs but since he has about 100 points less then anyone else trying for playoffs, if he loses he is OUT! Andy on the other hand would not only need to beat Scott but also hope that Brandon or Trevor lose and also that Andy scores more points then them.... I will try and give all possibilities for playoff picture down below. But this is one very important match for both owners. Played 12 weeks and it all comes down to this one. Good Luck!

Trevor is in the drivers seat as he approaches week 13. If he wins he makes playoffs, if he loses then it is up to tie breaker and other match ups to see if he is in. Just win this match vs are top team and you make playoffs Trevor, easy right? NOPE! Every year Eric is hard to beat and this year he is the toughest ever to beat.... Brandon, Brian,JR , Scott and Andy are all very pleased I am sure that Trevor has this matchup with Eric... Also Brandon plays our #2 team, things could get really shook up in our final week. VERY EXCITING STUFF!

Week 12, Brown Blows up for 44.4 but was it enough?

Congratulations Brandon on winning the Eliminator Challenge. Eric has won that 3 years in a row and this year he got 2nd.... ALL BOW DOWN TO THE KING BRANDON. Eric is no more the king of the Eliminator.... And as for Eric for getting 2nd, Well done man well done! It is hard to dethrone the king, you will have a chance to win it back next year. Congrats on being one tough mother fucker to beat in the eliminator.

This sure has been a great season so far. The race for the playoffs is as tight as it has ever been. Only Eric(10-1) has clinched a playoff berth but Derek (7-4) and Chris (7-4) are right there on the door step. Nathan (6-5),Trevor (6-5) and Scott (6-5) are still battling to keep there spots. But JR (5-6), Brandon (5-6), Andy (5-6) and Brian (5-6) are right there waiting for just one slip up so they have a chance. And that slip up could happen as early as this week. There are few tough match ups for our current playoff contenders. Lets check out them match up shall we......

Brandon almost had his playoff hopes crushed by Todd last week. Luckily for Brandon he was able to pull it off and still has a chance to make playoffs now. But he is sitting in 8th so a loss here vs Matt would probably be the kill shot that he is not looking towards. But I don't see Brandon losing this match. But he does face me next week for the last match of the year. So you better win this week or your playoff hopes are doomed.

Nathan has a tough match vs the higher scoring team in JR. JR always seems to score a lot of points but always seems to be fighting for a spot in the playoffs. I just don't get it... Even though I see Nathan winning this match. There is no denying that they should have a epic battle. If JR wins this match then Nate,Trevor and Scott should all be concerned because he probably is taking one of your spots for playoffs. I think this is the biggest match of the week.

Few weeks ago I would of said that Trevor has a walk in the park. But Todd's team has came on a bit lately. Even though he lost last week he still put up 150 points. Trevor better hope his team shows up, now is not the time to be losing.

Andy thought that his schedule was tough and that he needed to shake things up a bit to give him self a chance. And I thought it might have worked. One of them guys(Keenan Allen) scored 42 points this past week. But Andy still lost... I think it is crazy that 2 guys scored over 40 this week and they were both on losing fantasy teams... Andy might be able to give Derek a run for his money since his team laid a egg last week and got the loss... But do not let Derek's loss fool you because he has a great team and he will be in playoffs. Its up to him and me to decide the last bye slot.

These are the top 2 scoring teams in the league, averaging 178 and 175 a match... Eric is still unbeaten after my bold prediction of his defeat last week. But who better to give Eric his first loss then me. I am really hoping to get the victory because the loss Derek took last week really opened the door for me to have a chance at possibly getting a bye in round one.

How about this. The top 4 teams all play each other this week... I am asking you to do my dirty work this week Trevor and beat Derek so I have a better shot at getting a bye..... This should be a great great match. A win for Trevor means a little bit more then a win for Derek at this moment. There are 5 teams sitting at 5-5 and as of now it appears that only 3 of them will make the playoffs. So now is not the time for Trevor to be losing.

#5 Nathan vs #12 Matt
Ever since Nathan added Cam Newton on October 4th after Scott made the mistake of dropping him, Cam has been great! So great that he is now the #2 QB in football. But this is his bye week and that means Nathan will have to go back to relying on Matt Ryan. Nathan is 5-5 and in 5th. He needs a win badly this week. Not a time to be losing. Especially to the last place team in Matt. But Matt has not quite given up yet. He is trying to battle and be the spoiler and this week is shaping up very nicely for him. He already has Telvon Coleman get a upgrade from backup to starter with Freeman getting hurt. And also he has Bennett at TE this week and I actually think that is a sneaky good play. I have him in draft kings this week and I have the gut feeling he is in line for one if not 2 TDs

#6 Brian vs #8 Scott
If Scott plans on repeating and making it back to the championship game then he first has to make the playoffs. And standing in his way is BRIAN! Scott beat our #2 team Derek last week, giving him loads of confidence as he faces a tough Brian team who just scored the 2nd most points in the previous week. This match up is probably the most important match of all. Both teams are 5-5. Scott gets the early nod but anything can happen in this game and it usually does.... Both Brian and Scott should feel safe making dinner plans and skipping Sunday night football, along with MNF. Because this match will be over after the 3 o'clock games. Neither has a player playing after that. So that be nice to see a match be over early..... This is if Freeman doesn't play on MNF but it will be interesting to see how that plays out for Scott.

JR needs a win more then Andy but it doesn't really feel that way does it Andy? Every team at 5-5 needs a win BADLY! But if JR loses this week then his playoff chance really go down.... Andy has been very active in trying to trade Fournett so he can add depth and hopfully make a great playoff run. He has shown me several offers and I am shocked that he hasn't gotten one accepted yet. He is not asking for the world but instead giving up too much. Andy is a bold trade artist who can wheel and deal with the best of them. Lets hope he gets a deal done if that is what he wants. But keeping Fournett is not a bad consolation.

Brandon is sitting at 4-6 and still has a shot at making the playoffs but he really needs things to go his way a lot. Having 8 people ahead of him with better shots at making the playoffs does not bode well for Brandon but I would expect he would get the win this week.... Todd broke a 4 week streak of being last place by beating JR last week. Can he keep it up and beat Brandon and officially knock him out of the playoffs. At this point you are either fighting for the playoffs or playing the spoiler. We have a case of both here.

Don't get me wrong, Scott vs Trevor is really exciting match this week. But I will be following this match super close. Here we have 2 of the original owners going head to head to maintain a playoff berth. If Nate wins then that will really shake things up in the playoff bracket because they will both be 5-5. I want to break this match down a bit for Andy and Nate to show a better preview of the week but it appears they have a combined total of 11 guys on bye, so i have no clue what teams they will have taking the field on Sunday. But from the early looks of things. Nathan gets the early nod as vegas favorite.

But I have been telling Eric since about week 4 that I didn't see him losing until Week 10 vs Brandon. So do not make me wrong here Brandon lol.... Brandon really needs this win! Sitting at 4-5 and on the outside looking in on the playoffs. Brandon felt like his season was over few weeks ago but has kept going strong and now has real possibility of taking down are previous champ for the first time this year and giving himself a much better odd of making the playoffs.

There is no doubt that Lynch has been the biggest bust in fantasy football this year. So it is no surprise that he is on the worst team in our league. But he actually busted out for 2 TDs last game and showed that he can still be the beast mode of old. But now he goes on bye and that gives Todd very little chance to get the win over JR this week.... So now for JR, if he loses to Todd this week then his playoff hopes could be all shot to hell. I mean statistically he will still have a chance but mentally he would probably be done if he lost to Todd this week. Know one wants to lose to a one win team. But Vegas certainly would have JR as a favorite.

Derek 7-2

Brian came up big last week with a win over JR keeping his playoff hopes alive! This win has to feel especially nice for Brian after making a trade for Watson and having him tear his ACL the following day and also knowing that you left Forte on the bench who went off big. Nice recovery there with Matt Stafford Brian.... But this week you face Derek and he is no walk in the park. Only getting beat twice on the year. Derek has been one of the toughest opponents to beat all year. Brian's team has come around lately and this could be a great battle that ends on MNF were Derek has 2 WR and his Defense playing.
