WEEK 7 Rankings
See how things change week by week

1. Eric  6-0   2235
2. Chris  4-2   1822
3. Derek  5-1   1749
4. Brian 3-3   1423
5. Trevor  3-3   1405
6. Nathan  3-3   1355
PROJECTED--------------------PLAYOFFS
    7. Scott  3-3   1302
    8. Andy  2-4   1238
9. Brandon  2-4   1195
       10. JR  2-4   1180
     11. Matt  2-4   1004
    12. Todd  1-5   940

As you can see from week to week things can change a lot. We seen Brian move out of playoff contention from 4 to 9 and we saw Andy move into the playoff talk while going 8 to 6. Things will once again get shook up this week I am sure. We are now heading into the 2 toughest weeks in fantasy. Weeks 8 and 9 typically have the most teams on bye's making it hard for us to fill our rosters with guys we feel super confident in. Here are your match-ups this week and also your guys who are on bye. We have 36 players and DEF on bye this week. I suspect that some of them will be dropped tomorrow.

#2 Chris
Fitzgerald
Kupp
vs
#7 JR
Darkwa
R.Mathews

Chris vs JR should be a pretty good match. JR over the years has been known to score very high on any given week. But this year things are looking up for Chris. JR might have tough time beating little brother this week. Bragging rights are on the line. Luckily we both have 2 guys on bye. Seems rather fair.
-----------------------------------------

#1 Eric
Hundley
Zuerlein
Rams D
vs
#11 Matt
J. Brown
Succop
Ellington

I would tell Matt that he better expect to score low this week as Eric has allowed 169 less points scored then anyone else. Eric averages just 119.2 points scored against him this year. But Matt only averages 128, so that is not far from what Eric allows each week. Hate to say it looks like a bye week for Eric but Matt has just had tough time putting up points. I would love to have to eat my words though, so best of luck to you Matt.
------------------------------

#4 Trevor
Jaquars D
vs
#6 Andy
Ivory
Fournett
Watkins
D.Walker

Some how Trevor has the fewest players on bye this week then anyone else. Next week could be really bad for him. But this week he is set up for the win. Andy lost his TE last week to injury and also has his number one back on bye this week. Should be tough road for Andy this week. We will see if he can over come such things and take Trevor down this week.... These two teams are both projected to make playoffs. So lets hope for a great match. And one last thing, congrats to Trevor on a great week 7 and winning the $25
-------------------------------------

#8 Scott
M. Lee
Decker
C.Davis
R.Woods
vs
#12 Todd
Mariota
D. Adams
Cobb
Titans D
Vereen

There are 36 guys on bye this week in the league and this match has 25% of those guys. So I would suspect that there league averages of
Scott  141
Todd  127
will most likely not be matched this week.... Looking at the key guys on bye , Todd definitely takes the larger hit this week. So Scott should be looking for the W this week and he needs it. He still has playoff hopes and this week could perpell him right back into the playoff picture.
--------------------------------------

#9 Brian
D.Murray
S. Shepard
vs
#5 Nathan
A. Jones
D. Henry

These 2 made a big trade a few weeks back. And one of them traded players is on bye, Murray! How will this effect the match? We shall see!...... But all and all I think this could be the match up of the week. Over the years we have seen that Brian is one tough competitor to beat. And his team is not all that bad... Nathan on the other hand just lost a close match and will be looking to bounce back with a big win over Shan man. Nate has 2 of his RB's that he has been starting on bye this week so that really could come into play. Interested to see if any more trades get done this week so teams can fill starting roster spots... Look for this to be the match of the week and for it to come down to MNF were Brian has WR Thomas for Denver and Nate has the Chiefs D!
(Chiefs just went -2, will Nate play them?)
-----------------------------------

#3 Derek
Nelson
Engram
Gurley
Montgomery
D.Westbrook
vs
#10 Brandon
Hurns
Packers D
D. Johnson

Well if there is a week Derek could lose then it would have to be this week. Brandon better make sure he has all his T's crossed and his I's dotted for this week should be a cake walk for him. Derek has 4 key players on bye and this forces him to play players such as Theo Riddick who I used to own but could never trade him and so I dropped him and then he gets added super quickly. lol sorry for the short rant lol... Just sit back and watch this match and enjoy. Could be very close! Depends on which Melvin Gordon shows up, the 40+ scoring one or the one that scored 9 last week. I know which way Brandon wants him to lean lol.

Here is a list of the past 3 years of trading in our league and also this years.  This just shows the total amount of trades made by each team each year.

Below is a list of averages that shows you how much players at that position are scoring..... Example: We average 10 QBs a week with 25 fantasy points or more.

Quarterbacks
30+ = 4.6
25+ = 9.3
20+ = 14.6
15+ = 21.0

Running Backs
30+ = 3.3
25+ = 6.5
20+ = 13.3
15+ = 20.0
10+ = 34.3

Wide Receivers
30+ = 2.1
25+ = 4.1
20+ = 9.8
15+ = 19.6
10+ = 38.6

Tight Ends
30+ = 0
25+ = 1.0
20+ = 1.8
15+ = 6.5
10+ = 13.1

Defense
30+ = 1.8
25+ = 2.8
20+ = 6.0
15+ = 12.5
10+ = 20.5

Kickers
30+ = 0
25+ = .1
20+ = .5
15+ = 3.6
10+ = 9.8

Most of these averages should be pretty close. But the one that says that we average 2.4 WR a week with 30 points or more is kind of off. In week 3 we had 5 WR score 30 or more. But in week 4 we had none and only had one per week the other times. So having 5 in one week seems kind of rare.... Also before this week we only had 5 defenses go over 30 points. This past week we had 6 defenses score over 30 this week and one scored a massive 54 points for the most points ever by Def.

Week 6, Change of Scenery Helps Gordon

POWER RANKINGS
Week 6

1. Eric  5-0  1825
2. Derek  5-0  1618
3. Chris  3-2  1352
4. Trevor  3-2  1283
5. Andy  2-3  1125
6. JR  2-3  1103
7. Brandon  2-3  1047
8. Scott  2-3  1022
9. Brian  2-3  958
10. Nathan  2-3  939
11. Todd  1-4  800
12. Matt  1-4  731

This was one of the most active weeks we have ever had in fantasy football. We had 10 waivers get used and we saw 5 trades in week 5.... I want to show you all the trades and how they compare on the draft chart I posted last week.

1. Eric and Derek
 Ty Montgomery   19
J. Williams   2
Devante Parker   14
for
Joe Mixon   18

We all know Eric likes to take big gambles and this appeared to be one of them. But after that last packers game. Jones could become the starter. But I am sure when Montgomery is healthy he will be the lead back. But Eric likes to get out ahead of things and he saw a bright future this year for Mixon.... If Eric made that same offer today, would Derek still accept??? I don't think he would. But that's just me. Well played Eric well played.

2. Nathan and Brandon
Ty Hilton  15
Melvin Gordon  31
for
Jordan Howard  22
Dez Bryant  20

Nathan and Brandon pulled off a great trade here. Well great for Brandon anyway... They both went off in Week 5 and that left Nate wondering if he would ever be able to make a right move in fantasy football this year. But Nate still got Dez Bryant and he was one of my buy low candidates. So I really like Dez moving forward. But Dez and Howard will have to be pretty big in the coming weeks for Nate to feel good about this deal. But lucky for Nate he still got the victory.

3. Eric and Brian
DeAndre Hopkins 21
for
Julio Jones  31

There is no doubting these two players as great wide receivers... I was kind of surprised Eric wanted to give up Hopkins for Julio since Hopkins has been taring it up this year and Julio has been lacking so far... But Eric once again likes to think about long term and there is also no doubting that Julio is suppose to be the better WR here. But only time will tell if this was the right move.

4. Chris and Andy
Leonard Fournett  33
Alshon Jeffrey  17
Chris Ivory  4
for
LeVeon Bell  44
Kearse  4

This trade looked lopsided from the feedback that people gave me. But how does it look now after Fournett just went for 40 fantasy points? Bell is ranked as the highest player in the trade chart so I was rather pleased to get him. Fournett would not of got me the win this week anyway so I much rather have Bell moving forward. But Andy did good in this trade I feel like. Moving further, Fournett could be a work horse who will get the ball every chance he gets. Andy should be very pleased owning him right now.

5. Nathan and Brian
Murray  14
Thomas  13
Moncrief  6
for
Ajayi  25
Graham  8

As you can see, this is a perfect trade for both sides... They both add up to 33. Not sure if they used the trade chart I provided for you guys but this was one well thought out deal. It is hard to say which side you like the most. Once again, only time will tell the future on this deal.

Week 5, Ringing the Bell

POWER RANKINGS

#1  Eric  4-0
PR = 1,502
QB - Excellent
RB - Poor
WR - Excellent
TE - Excellent

Coming out of Robinson Illinois. We have are #1 ranked team in a Eric. Last year he did not lose until week 8. Let's hope for the leagues sake that we get his first loss earlier then that this year..... So far Eric is Excellent on everything but RBs. That is because he just lost Carson to a broken foot. But luckily Eric added Collins from Ravens before any one else could get him off waivers. Well played Eric.

#2  Derek  4-0
PR = 1,383
QB - Good
RB - Good
WR - Excellent
TE - Good

Trying to improve his life by going to college. We have are last undefeated team in Derek..... The new owner curse has struck once again on the league. Derek has a super solid team from top to bottom. And winning the $25 bounty by scoring 210.2 shows that he is a team to be scared of.

#3  Chris  3-1

PR = 1,229
QB - Excellent
RB - Good
WR - Excellent
TE - Excellent

With our 3rd ranked team after week 5 we have a Scorpio who loves sports! Especially the fantasy kind. Hailing out of Calhoun IL, Chris is always making sure to stay up to date on his sports news. The team seems to be pretty solid from top to bottom. Surprised he doesn't get more trade offers.

#4  Andy  2-2
PR = 960
QB - Bad
RB - Excellent
WR - Moderate
TE - Good

A crazy man turned cop. Andy has always been a wild one! But now for a living he has to crack down on the wild ones. So now he lives his wild side through his fantasy games. Always trying to make a deal, Andy is one of the easiest guys to trade with. That is because he will talk the trade out with you or respond to your message rather quickly..... I know when I am looking to trade, Andy's team is one of first I look at. And this week Andy had his main stud Bell go off in a big way. Top scorer of the week in fact. But Andy also took a big hit by losing a stud RB in Dalvin Cook and his QB Carr.  This week was a bit of a roller coaster for Andy. We will have to see how his team bounces back in week 5.

#5  JR  2-2
PR = 956
QB - Excellent
RB - Moderate
WR - Bad
TE - Excellent

Standing 6 foot 4 with a evil glare! But don't let that glare fool you for he is a gentle giant.... Jr just took his second loss in a row but has a very good team. Still scored quite a bit in a loss, 205 in fact. So that should keep JR's hopes up for week 5. But he is playing Eric so that never feels good.... It shows JR has Bad core of WR's but with Fuller coming back, that ranking could change in coming weeks. Fuller pulled in 2 TD's in his first game of the season. Making Chris wonder if he should of done that trade for Mark Ingram.

#6  Trevor  2-2
PR = 923
QB - Good
RB - Poor
WR - Excellent
TE - Excellent

Trevor has the best WR core in the league. Top 3 being Beckam jr, AJ Green and Tyreke Hill.... Trevor is just weak at the RB slots. But as I say that I see that Trevor has Bila Powell who just went off this past week for 36.2 points on 163 rushing yards... Trevor has tough competition this week vs myself. I hope its a tough one for him anyways lol... Trevor's team is very solid other then RB. Expect him to make no trades but possibly use his waiver this week.

#7 Scott  2-2
PR = 919
QB - Moderate
RB - Excellent
WR -Bad
TE - Bad

Scott exploded this week like the seaman he is. Winning by a comfortable 37 points over Matt. Living out on the east coast has to really suck for sports. But Scott is making the most of it. He got second place last year and is off to a 2-2 start this year. But with his WR and TE being ranked bad he better find some improvements sooner then later if he wants to repeat back to the playoffs.

#8  Brandon 1-3
PR = 724
QB - Excellent
RB - Good
WR - Bad

TE - Good

With 5 teams in our league being 1-3, Brandon stands ahead of them all with the 8th ranking.... Chris Thompson was a hot trade commadity last week and I am sure Brandon got several offers for him. I know I made few. But now it appears that Thompson has lost some of that trade flare. Brandon will for sure have to hold on to him and see what happens. Honestly he should be just fine.... Brandon is rather weak at the WR spots so maybe he should try and get rid of Thompson while he has a chance.

#9  Brian  1-3
PR = 695
QB - Moderate
RB - Moderate
WR - Bad
TE - Poor

Working long hours in the fields, Brian has nothing to do but think about mostly fantasy football while he drives that combine or buggy. This is a perfect time for him to execute a trade. Brian still has a solid team in my eyes but this week he has 4 guys on bye and might be needing some help. I could see a great possibility of Julio Jones being traded this week. Or maybe Ajayi who's value has went down since beginning of week 3. Perhaps Brian will try and move him.

#10  Todd  1-3
PR = 630
QB - Moderate
RB - Poor
WR - Poor
TE - Excellent

Todd has taken a beaten these past weeks with injurys. Mariota, Adams, Eifert and how could we all forget about Woodhead in week one.... When a team gets sooo many injury's it is tough to stay active. But Todd is a solid owner and wont take his foot off the gas this early in the season... Todd could just be a trade or 2 away from a change of pace... McCoy was drafted to be a top 5 back, hell maybe even a top 3 back. But he is only 12th right now and his team the Bills are 3-1. Hopefully for Todd's sake McCoy turns it around a bit and starts getting TDs left and right.

#11  Nathan  1-3
PR = 626
QB - Poor
RB - Bad
WR - Poor

TE - Good

Nathan should be surprised to come into the rankings at anything but 12. He only scored 75 points last week so he has to be feeling pretty bad about his guys. He has a good squad but they are just under performing every week. Lets take a look at Amari Cooper for example. Ranked 68th among receivers but drafted 17th in are draft. Talking to a buddy about a different league and he said the guy who owns Cooper offered him up for TE Charles Clay. So that shows you the value that Cooper is getting these days.... Nate will for sure make a deal this week. So i am curious to see who he gets and who he parts ways with.

#12  Matt  1-3
PR = 618
QB - Moderate
RB - Poor
WR - Moderate
TE - Bad

Matt is not feeling so great about his team as it showed in the group text when he said he basically has given up on this year. We do not like to hear that attitude around these parts. It is not ever over until the math equation says it is. I dont see any blue or green on your 5 point ranking Matt but you do have some decent trade bait. Mike Evans , Brandin Cooks, Doug Martin, Cohen and Ellington is looking valuable over there in Arizona. Take a look at my trade chart down below and i bet you can come up with a deal.

So below I have posted a trade chart. This is a absolutely great tool for trading. And if you look up top at my 5 point color ranking system then you should be able to find teams needs and wants.... First off, i posted the Standard Scoring ranking and the PPR because it was much easier that way. So if any of you have a standard scoring league. Feel free to use this chart as well....  This is how the trade chart works. All you have to do is find 2 guys on your team that equal that number or 3 guys. How ever you want to make this deal work for you.
EXAMPLE:
McCaffrey  19
Fitzgerald  14
for
Odell Beckam  33

That would be a prime example of a possible trade... So have fun scanning these numbers and finding a trade that works for you.
