Week 5, Ringing the Bell

POWER RANKINGS

#1  Eric  4-0
PR = 1,502
QB - Excellent
RB - Poor
WR - Excellent
TE - Excellent

Coming out of Robinson Illinois. We have are #1 ranked team in a Eric. Last year he did not lose until week 8. Let's hope for the leagues sake that we get his first loss earlier then that this year..... So far Eric is Excellent on everything but RBs. That is because he just lost Carson to a broken foot. But luckily Eric added Collins from Ravens before any one else could get him off waivers. Well played Eric.

#2  Derek  4-0
PR = 1,383
QB - Good
RB - Good
WR - Excellent
TE - Good

Trying to improve his life by going to college. We have are last undefeated team in Derek..... The new owner curse has struck once again on the league. Derek has a super solid team from top to bottom. And winning the $25 bounty by scoring 210.2 shows that he is a team to be scared of.

#3  Chris  3-1

PR = 1,229
QB - Excellent
RB - Good
WR - Excellent
TE - Excellent

With our 3rd ranked team after week 5 we have a Scorpio who loves sports! Especially the fantasy kind. Hailing out of Calhoun IL, Chris is always making sure to stay up to date on his sports news. The team seems to be pretty solid from top to bottom. Surprised he doesn't get more trade offers.

#4  Andy  2-2
PR = 960
QB - Bad
RB - Excellent
WR - Moderate
TE - Good

A crazy man turned cop. Andy has always been a wild one! But now for a living he has to crack down on the wild ones. So now he lives his wild side through his fantasy games. Always trying to make a deal, Andy is one of the easiest guys to trade with. That is because he will talk the trade out with you or respond to your message rather quickly..... I know when I am looking to trade, Andy's team is one of first I look at. And this week Andy had his main stud Bell go off in a big way. Top scorer of the week in fact. But Andy also took a big hit by losing a stud RB in Dalvin Cook and his QB Carr.  This week was a bit of a roller coaster for Andy. We will have to see how his team bounces back in week 5.

#5  JR  2-2
PR = 956
QB - Excellent
RB - Moderate
WR - Bad
TE - Excellent

Standing 6 foot 4 with a evil glare! But don't let that glare fool you for he is a gentle giant.... Jr just took his second loss in a row but has a very good team. Still scored quite a bit in a loss, 205 in fact. So that should keep JR's hopes up for week 5. But he is playing Eric so that never feels good.... It shows JR has Bad core of WR's but with Fuller coming back, that ranking could change in coming weeks. Fuller pulled in 2 TD's in his first game of the season. Making Chris wonder if he should of done that trade for Mark Ingram.

#6  Trevor  2-2
PR = 923
QB - Good
RB - Poor
WR - Excellent
TE - Excellent

Trevor has the best WR core in the league. Top 3 being Beckam jr, AJ Green and Tyreke Hill.... Trevor is just weak at the RB slots. But as I say that I see that Trevor has Bila Powell who just went off this past week for 36.2 points on 163 rushing yards... Trevor has tough competition this week vs myself. I hope its a tough one for him anyways lol... Trevor's team is very solid other then RB. Expect him to make no trades but possibly use his waiver this week.

#7 Scott  2-2
PR = 919
QB - Moderate
RB - Excellent
WR -Bad
TE - Bad

Scott exploded this week like the seaman he is. Winning by a comfortable 37 points over Matt. Living out on the east coast has to really suck for sports. But Scott is making the most of it. He got second place last year and is off to a 2-2 start this year. But with his WR and TE being ranked bad he better find some improvements sooner then later if he wants to repeat back to the playoffs.

#8  Brandon 1-3
PR = 724
QB - Excellent
RB - Good
WR - Bad

TE - Good

With 5 teams in our league being 1-3, Brandon stands ahead of them all with the 8th ranking.... Chris Thompson was a hot trade commadity last week and I am sure Brandon got several offers for him. I know I made few. But now it appears that Thompson has lost some of that trade flare. Brandon will for sure have to hold on to him and see what happens. Honestly he should be just fine.... Brandon is rather weak at the WR spots so maybe he should try and get rid of Thompson while he has a chance.

#9  Brian  1-3
PR = 695
QB - Moderate
RB - Moderate
WR - Bad
TE - Poor

Working long hours in the fields, Brian has nothing to do but think about mostly fantasy football while he drives that combine or buggy. This is a perfect time for him to execute a trade. Brian still has a solid team in my eyes but this week he has 4 guys on bye and might be needing some help. I could see a great possibility of Julio Jones being traded this week. Or maybe Ajayi who's value has went down since beginning of week 3. Perhaps Brian will try and move him.

#10  Todd  1-3
PR = 630
QB - Moderate
RB - Poor
WR - Poor
TE - Excellent

Todd has taken a beaten these past weeks with injurys. Mariota, Adams, Eifert and how could we all forget about Woodhead in week one.... When a team gets sooo many injury's it is tough to stay active. But Todd is a solid owner and wont take his foot off the gas this early in the season... Todd could just be a trade or 2 away from a change of pace... McCoy was drafted to be a top 5 back, hell maybe even a top 3 back. But he is only 12th right now and his team the Bills are 3-1. Hopefully for Todd's sake McCoy turns it around a bit and starts getting TDs left and right.

#11  Nathan  1-3
PR = 626
QB - Poor
RB - Bad
WR - Poor

TE - Good

Nathan should be surprised to come into the rankings at anything but 12. He only scored 75 points last week so he has to be feeling pretty bad about his guys. He has a good squad but they are just under performing every week. Lets take a look at Amari Cooper for example. Ranked 68th among receivers but drafted 17th in are draft. Talking to a buddy about a different league and he said the guy who owns Cooper offered him up for TE Charles Clay. So that shows you the value that Cooper is getting these days.... Nate will for sure make a deal this week. So i am curious to see who he gets and who he parts ways with.

#12  Matt  1-3
PR = 618
QB - Moderate
RB - Poor
WR - Moderate
TE - Bad

Matt is not feeling so great about his team as it showed in the group text when he said he basically has given up on this year. We do not like to hear that attitude around these parts. It is not ever over until the math equation says it is. I dont see any blue or green on your 5 point ranking Matt but you do have some decent trade bait. Mike Evans , Brandin Cooks, Doug Martin, Cohen and Ellington is looking valuable over there in Arizona. Take a look at my trade chart down below and i bet you can come up with a deal.

So below I have posted a trade chart. This is a absolutely great tool for trading. And if you look up top at my 5 point color ranking system then you should be able to find teams needs and wants.... First off, i posted the Standard Scoring ranking and the PPR because it was much easier that way. So if any of you have a standard scoring league. Feel free to use this chart as well....  This is how the trade chart works. All you have to do is find 2 guys on your team that equal that number or 3 guys. How ever you want to make this deal work for you.
EXAMPLE:
McCaffrey  19
Fitzgerald  14
for
Odell Beckam  33

That would be a prime example of a possible trade... So have fun scanning these numbers and finding a trade that works for you.
