One of the most prestige titles you can win in a fantasy league is, Manager of the year. So who won this year? I would have to say that the final candidates come down to the top 4 teams. So lets take a quick look at those teams and decided who won, Manager of the year!

#4.....In my mind Nathan has made a strong statement for manager of the year and this is a big reason why... After 4 weeks he was 1-3 and averaged just 125 a match... So what did Nathan do, did he sit on his team and wait to see if things got better or did he make some moves and try to shake things up? Well that is exactly what he did. Made moves! Shook things up and BAM! Now he is in the playoffs. Since Nathan made 2 trades in week 5 he has gone 6-3 and averaged a whopping 165 points a match... Sometimes you shouldn't worry about the balance of the league like one owner put it in week 4 but instead just worry about your own team and make some changes. Congrats Nathan on a season well played!

#3.....  Derek is living up to the new owner curse. Or is it more like the new owner blessing? Guess it just matters on who you ask. But either way, Derek has been great this year. Making trades and keeping his team in the top 3 all year long. So how did Derek do it? Was it good trades, good drafting or just simply good acquisitions throughout the year? Good trades and good adds would be the correct answer. I wouldn't say that he had a awesome draft by no means. His top 5 picks were, Michael Thomas, Jordy Nelson, Kareem Hunt, Joe Mixon and Ameer Abdullah. He still owns 3 of them and traded away the other 2. And that is why he is up for Manager of the year. The trades he made worked out well for him. Trading Kareem Hunt strait up for Todd Gurley was just amazing for Derek. Even though Eric is the one that offered it. Sometimes you get lucky enough like that. But it worked out and Hunt was the best RB in league at time of the trade. Congrats Derek on a season well managed!

#2..... This guy is hard to talk about since it is me(Chris) lol. But I did have a decent draft and I believe that is what helped me out the most. My WRs did not come on early but have been very big lately. Larry Fitzgerald and Keenan Allen are both top 4 WRs now.... I also kept Tom Brady as keeper and also drafted Gronk and they both have been consistently in the top 4 all year. So with that all said, it looks like i have a good team on the surface and i have not even mentioned my RBs that i have yet. 3 of the top 8 to be exact... I traded Fournett and Alshon Jeffrey and got LeVeon Bell and then few weeks later turned around and got Fournett back. But did i mention i also got Mark Ingram for Fuller V in a trade?!?! That deal really ended up helping my team out a bunch. I would have to say, it was a season well played!

#1..... Our number one guy all year long and actually number one for last 3 seasons now. Eric is constantly at the top... This guy knows all the ins and outs you need to know about this fantasy game. Maybe if he wins 3 years in a row he should get one less bench spot for next season hahaha..... But all jokes aside Eric is the best owner we probably will ever see or come across and we can and should take all the notes from him as we can... Maybe that is why I am up to #2 this year, I have listened to him and took his advice.... But do not think that Eric is not prone to making mistakes. He still kicks himself for offering up Gurley for Hunt. Just imagine if he still had Gurley? We all would have no chance at all. But instead he is thinking of benching Hunt in the coming weeks because of lack of performance. Also it is important to mention how Eric nearly sold the farm to get 2 first round picks. That seemed to really work out for him....And with that said, I think it is important for everyone to actually realize that some people just love to trade (Eric) and sometimes they want a certain guy so bad that they over offer for them. Eric will do this more then most and you can actually see this if you look back at some of the offers he made that people declined. Eric has the biggest balls when it comes to trading and if he offers you up something then you should take a hard look at it. Because he will make offers that he knows is lopsided and not in his favor but people usually just decline because it is Eric making the offer lol and that makes no sense but it happens. Great Great season Eric, it is one for the ages. Best season we have ever seen record wise. Lets see if you can finish off the 3 peat.

So now we have seen all 4 of our candidates for manager of the year. Who wins in your opinion? Nathan,Derek, Chris or Eric???

I am giving Manager of the year award to Nathan!
Without those moves in week 5 were you pulled off 2 trades, I do not think you would be in the position you are in. Sitting at #4 and with hopes of winning money and even the plaque. Nathan is Manager of the year for his must needed moves and his never giving up attitude. CONGRATS NATHAN!!!
