Gold Standard

The gold standard is measured by players who scored 300 or more points in fantasy last season. Some even went over 400 and should be put in there own category but since there are so few we will just combine them with the Gold Standard. If a guy scored 300 on the season then he would have averaged 18.7 a game. That is a fantastic number to shoot for. But there were only 39 of these Gold Standard players last season. 

QB's = 24

RB's = 9

WR's = 4

Defense = 2

QB's have a high ceiling so we expect them to be over 300. So lets focus on the other 15 Gold Standards from last season. Here they are in order.

So if you own one of these 13 guys, excluding the 2 defenses. You should feel good about your pick. But now lets go ahead and look at week 1 and see who has some guys who have already qualified for our GOLD STANDARD. There was 46 qualifiers.

46 Qualified but only 31 were owned last week. So if you had more then 3 guys get over 18.7 then you are well on your way to having a better then average team.
